SLOPE STABILITY

The joint employment of geophysical surveys through soil characterization permits the study of the processes of a potential or an active landslide.
Seismic refraction and electronic tomography provide detailed sections of a bedrock profile and of the surface slip. With highly portable equipment and low environmental impact, it is possible to survey hardly reachable and remote sites. Our surveys include:
— Internal structure of a slope, the variations and the effects of the movement.
— Geological boundaries that may represent the slip planes.
— Groundwater variations in the involved material.
— Possible causes of the gravitative movement.
