GROUND HAZARD / SERVICE MAPPING

BURIED STRUCTURES, LOCATING LANDFILLS AND UNEXPLODED BOMBS
Geophysical surveys have an important and increasing role in the characterization of the ground beneath former industrial and military sites. Survey targets range from foundation, buried structures, illegal landfill and unexploded bombs. The selection of appropriate techniques may depend on the survey brief and site consideration.
UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS
Buried metals USTs and pipes can be rapidly detected using magnetic and non – ferrous metal detection surveys. The combine usage of Metal Detectors, Gradiometer and Georadar allows the localization of any buried structure.
SERVICE AND STRUCTURE MAPPING
Geophysics can provide reliable and accurate information relating to the position of existing buried services and structures as well as general ground characterization. The non – intrusive nature of the surveys limit the ground disturbance making the approach ideal for sensitive sites.
